CLOSE CAPTIONING DISPLAY IN DIGITAL MODE
When in digital mode, you can assign display options to your closed captioning options. This feature is ONLY available in Digital Mode.
1 | Press MENU button on the remote control |
to display the onscreen menu. | |
2 | Press CURSOR < or > until you see |
DTV Setup highlighted. | |
3 | Press CURSOR > to display the DTV |
Setup options. | |
4 | Press CURSOR < or > until you |
see Close Caption highlighted. Press | |
CURSOR > to enter Display menu | |
| options. |
5 | Press CURSOR > to toggle to the options |
that you want – Off, Always on or On | |
when muted. | |
6 | When finished, press MENU button on the |
remote control to exit the menu from the | |
TV screen. |

An alternative way of activating closed caption is by pressing the CC button on the remote control.
Close Captions may take 10 - 20 seconds to appear on the TV screen.
CAPTION OPTION IN DIGITAL MODE
Caption Option lets you select the default option or options that you have assigned to your Close captioning service. This feature is ONLY available in Digital Mode.
