SETTING THE REMOTE CONTROL TO WORK WITH OTHER DEVICES

you are ready to follow the sim-

 

ple steps shown below.

 

Please read through steps 1-4

 

before beginning.

 

BEGIN

1

Place the TV/VCR/ACC

 

Mode Switch in the proper posi-

 

tion.

2 Press the (A/CH) • RECORD

 

button on the remote control and

 

release.

3 Press the SmartSound button

 

on the remote within 30 seconds,

 

then release.

4 Enter the THREE-DIGIT

 

REMOTE CODE NUMBER

 

for your desired device. The

 

remote is now ready to send

 

commands to the unit.

5 Point the remote at the

 

Device. Press the POWER button

 

on the remote to turn the unit

 

ON.

After a second try and the remote does not operate your device, see if there is another three-digit code num- ber listed for your device and repeat the steps above using the new num- ber.
