Connecting a DVD player, cable box or game console

Connecting With an HDMI Connector

1.As shown in the figure below, connect your equipment with the HDMI connec- tor.

2.Press thekey on the remote con- trol. The source list is displayed.

3.Press the ï key to select HDMI1 or

HDMI2 and press the Æ / key to confirm your selection.

Connect a DVD player, satellite receiver or cable box

Connecting With Component Video Connectors

1.As shown in the following figure, connect the three separate component

video cables (1) to the YPbPr jacks on the DVD player and to the Y (yellow), Pb (blue) and Pr (red) jacks of EXT4 on the TV.

2.Connect the audio cable to the DVD’s audio L and R jacks and to the L/R AUDIO jack of EXT4 (2).

3.Press thekey on the remote con- trol. The source list is displayed.

4.Press the ï key to select EXT4 and

press the Æ / key to confirm your selection.

5.As shown in the following figure, if you are using a cable box and/or a satellite receiver, also connect the cable TV cable and/or the satellite aerial cable (3) to the aerial cable (4).
