SETTING THE INCREDIBLE SURROUND CONTROL
he Incredible Surround feature
Tadds greater depth and dimension to
both monaural (MONO) and stereo TV
sound. With the control turned ON the
TV's speakers can add even wider
sound separation to normal broadcasts.
Press the MENU button on the		Menu
		Picture	Brightness	Main
remote to display the on-screen menu.		Sound	Color
				Picture	Treble
		Features	Picture
Press the CURSOR UP	or CUR-			Sound	Bass
		Install	Sharpness
SOR DOWN ■ button until the word			Tint	Features	Balance
SOUND is highlighted.			More...	Install	AVL
Press the CURSOR RIGHT					Incr Surr
					More...
button to display the SOUND menu
features.
Press the CURSOR UP	or
CURSOR DOWN ■ button to scroll
the Sound menu features until the				Sound	50
words INCR. SURR. are highlighted.				Treble
Press the CURSOR RIGHT				Bass
			4	Balance
button to set the Incredible Surround				AVL
control as follows:		1	2	Incr Surr
MONO: When in the Mono Sound			6	SAP
Mode, Incredible Surround can be set
to Mono or Spatial.
STEREO: When in the Stereo Sound
Mode, Incredible Surround can be set			3 5	Sound
to Stereo or Incredible Surround.
				Treble
When finished, press the STATUS		2		Bass
/EXIT button to remove the menu				Balance
from the TV’s screen.		4		AVL
				Incr Surr	Spatial
				SAP
SMART HELP					OR (if in Stereo)
NOTE: If the TV signal is
being received from a mono				Sound
source, pressing the INCR. SURR.
button will cause either MONO or				Treble
SPATIAL to appear on the the screen.				Bass

If the TV signal is being received from
				AVL
a stereo source, pressing the INCR.

SURR. button will toggle three choic-
				SAP
es: STEREO and INCR. SUR-
ROUND.
SPATIAL – widens the “Mono”
sound, simulating a broader, fuller
sound.
INCR. SURROUND – widens the
“Stereo” sound, simulating a broader,
fuller sound.
