3.4.4. USING DISPLAY PORT INPUT

1.Connect the DisplayPort connector of the PC to the DisplayPort connector of the monitor.

2.Connect the audio cable to the AUDIO IN (AUDIO1) input of the monitor.

Allen: You might want to remove the audio connection from the drawing because like HDMI cable, DP cable carries audio besides video. No audio connection is required.

3.5.1. CONNECTING EXTERNAL SPEAKERS

1.Connect the speaker wires to the external speaker (SPEAKERS) output of the monitor.

2.Turn on the monitor.

Note: Before connecting the speaker wires to the monitor, turn off your monitor.
