SELECTING THE STEREO/MONO SOUND MODE

You can enjoy stereo programs on your TV. It has both an amplifier and twin

speakers through which stereo sound can be heard. While watching the channel or signal source for which you want to select STEREO, follow the steps below.

NOTE: When you connect a mono (non- stereo) device to the TV, such as a mono VCR, you must be sure to select MONO for the AV source to which you connected the device. Otherwise, you will receive sound from only one speaker. The reason is that in connecting the mono device, you can use only one audio input (Left or Right channel). This will produce sound in only one speaker when the sound setting for the AV source is

STEREO.
