OVERVIEW

This user manual will help you set up and use your Philips manufactured DIRECTV PLUSTM Satellite Receiver. On-screen messages will provide additional help, as will the glossary on page 45 of this manual.

FEATURES

Your Satellite Receiver lets you receive television signals from up to three satellites. You can customize your viewing schedules, set up favorite programs, set viewing preferences, and order pay per view (PPV) programs.

•Use the on-screen DIRECTV® Programming Guide to see what's on, then set a reminder so you don't miss the program.

•Create your own list of favorite channels.

•Restrict viewing based on the ratings of programs.

•Tag programs for future viewing.

•Receive mail messages from DIRECTV.

SMART HELP

Your Satellite Receiver has a first time setup on-screen guide. This

offers important and helpful operation instructions. For details, refer to page 19.
