MPAA Rating Settings

You can block TV channel viewing according to the Motion Picture of Association ratings. To do so, follow these steps.

1 Press SET-UP.

Press or to select V-CHIP SET UP.

Then, press ENTER.

BV-CHIP SET UP LANGUAGE [ENGLISH] CAPTION [OFF]

3 Press the Number buttons to enter the 4-digit access code. (The default code is 0000 if you have not set up your own code yet or if the power has failed.)

4 Press or to select MPAA RATING.

Then, press ENTER.

BMPAA RATING CHANGE CODE

Press or to select the level at which you

want to block viewing. Then, press ENTER to

When you Block a category, higher ratings turn to

BLOCK automatically. Lower ratings turn to VIEW.

When you set G to VIEW or BLOCK, all ratings turn

to VIEW or BLOCK automatically.

G - General Audience

PG - Parental Guidance suggested.

PG-13 - Unsuitable for children under 13

R - Restricted; under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian

NC-17 - No one under 17 admitted

X - Mature audience only

Helpful Hints

To disable all the MPAA Ratings, set G to VIEW.

The V-CHIP Settings will be retained after a power failure (except the access code reverts to 0000).
