Video Stabilizer

You can correct vertical vibration when playing back tapes record- ed in SLP speed. When Video Stabilizer is ON, vertical vibration will be corrected automatically. Video Stabilizer is OFF when you receive the VCR.

Follow the steps below to turn Video Stabilizer ON.

Press the Number 8 button so that (ON) appears to the right of VIDEO STABILIZER.

Each time you press the Number 8 button, you turn VIDEO STA- BILIZER ON or OFF.

Regardless of the setting, this func- tion has no effect on tapes recorded in SP speed, during recording, and during special effects playback.

When you finish viewing the tape, set VIDEO STABILIZER to OFF. Follow steps 1 - 2 above. At step 3, press the Number 8 button so that OFF appears to the right of VIDEO STABILIZER. Press the EXIT/STA- TUS button.
