Turn capscrews {Ref 13 -	h
two places} until minimum
backlash is obtained, then
lock by tightening the
locknut {Ref 14} against
plate {REf 12}. Torque nut
{Ref 14} to 13-19 ft. lbs.

Apply anti-sieze			DE		hh
compound to inside
of bushing {Ref 15}
if shaft {Ref 5} is		DH				DF
not plated.
Torque nut	DK	DI				DG
{Ref 18} to					h	DC
26-39 ft. lbs.		hDN				DD
DM	hh				h
		EC h
		ED		EEh
					EF
Timing marks on pinion						EG
{Ref 21} and bevel gear
{Ref 17} must be in line.
Do NOT brush grease					Torque nut
on tooth surfaces at
gear or pinion.					{Ref 23} to
					40-60 ft. lbs.

	FD				Align length of drag link assembly
			h		{Ref 29} by positioning end ball joint
					so that front wheels will be in straight
		h		FC	ahead position when the timing
Torque nut					marks on the steering pinion and
					gear are aligned.
{Ref 32} to
40-60 ft. lbs.	FE
