REASSEMBLE THE ENCLOSURE

1.Place the supplied desiccant bag at the back of the enclosure.

2.Make sure that the lubricated O-rings on the front and rear covers of the enclosure are free of dirt and debris.

WARNING: The O-rings must be lubricated prior to reassembling the enclosure. If needed, apply additional silicone lubricant (supplied) to the O-rings.

3.Reinstall the camera assembly.

a.Slide the camera assembly into the front of the enclosure, making sure that the tongue on the underside of the interface board bracket is aligned with the groove on the inside bottom of the enclosure.

b.Push the front plate snugly against the enclosure to ensure that the O-ring is seated properly.

c.Use the supplied 5/64-inch hex wrench to reinstall the two screws on the front of the enclosure.

4.Reinstall the ground cable on the inside of the enclosure’s back plate.

5.Reinstall the enclosure sled.

a.Slide the enclosure sled into the back of the enclosure.

b.Push the back plate snugly against the enclosure to ensure that the O-ring is seated properly.

c.Use the supplied 1/8-inch hex wrench to tighten the two captive hex screws on the back plate.

6.Gently pull the cables coming out of the gland connectors on the back plate to eliminate any cable slack inside the enclosure.

7.Tighten both of the gland connectors to create an appropriate seal.

8.Attach the end of the serial cable that is not connected to the camera’s detachable connector to your PC’s serial port. Your PC should automatically recognize the camera. Proceed to Configuration on page 15.
