Using the Mode Dial

The GE camera provides a convenient mode dial that allows you to switch between different modes with ease. All the available modes are listed as follows:

Mode Name

Description

Auto

 

Switch to take still pictures in automatic mode.

 

 

 

Manual

M

Switch to take still pictures in manual mode, where many camera settings can be configured.

(Recommended for advanced users only)

 

 

 

 

 

Panorama

 

Switch to capture a sequence of shots and stitch them together into a panoramic photo.

 

 

 

Stabilization

 

Switch to take still pictures by reducing the blurs caused by hand shake, under low luminance, or

 

slow shutter speed.

 

 

 

 

 

Scene

 

Switch to take still pictures in 12 different scene types by your choice.

 

 

 

Movie

 

Switch to record videos.

 

 

 

Auto Scene

 

Switch to have the camera automatically select the best scene type for still pictures.

Portrait Mode

Switch to take portrait pictures under normal condition.
