Copying selected tracks on the HDD

You can copy favorite tracks on the HDD to a CD-R or CD-RW disc.

1. Set a new or not finalized CD-R (or CD-RW) disc in the disc tray, then select the HDD and add book- marks to favorite tracks (P.24).

Tracks are listed and stored in order that the bookmarks have been placed.

2. Press COPY twice.

This unit enters the CDR copy standby mode. Copying has not been started yet at this stage.

In the CDR copy standby mode, you can specify the settings for disc copy. For details, refer to “Setting the CDR copy mode” (P.42) and “Setting the CDR copy menu” (P.43).

3. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/–, GROUP SKIP buttons, H or G on the remote control) to select “Mrk”.

Memo

The OPC (Optimum Power Control) feature may start automatically depending on disc conditions. In this case, the message “OPC Adjust” appears on the display until the adjustment is done (about 10 seconds) before the copy process starts.

Note

CD TEXT is copied only when selecting “Full Auto” in the CDR copy mode for a new CD-R or CD-RW disc.

When copying has been completed, the operation of the HDD and the CD automatically stops.

5. To carry out the finalization process (P.47), press

FINALIZE.

You can create a CD with high quality sounds using the Audio Master Quality Recording feature. For details, refer to “Copying high quality sounds (Audio Master Quality Recording)” (P.41).
