Viewing Movies

Movies are indicated by a 1icon in full-frame playback (0 26). Press J to start playback.

Volume Guide

The following operations can be performed:

To	Use		Description
Pause			Pause playback.
Play	J		Resume playback when movie is paused or during rewind/
			advance.
			Speed doubles with each press, from 2×
			to 4× to 8× to 16×; keep pressed to skip
Advance/			to beginning or end of movie (first frame is indicated by hicon
rewind			in top right corner of monitor, last frame by i). If playback is
			paused, movie rewinds or advances one frame at a time; keep
			pressed for continuous rewind or advance.
Adjust volume	X/W		Press X to increase volume, W to decrease.
Edit movie	A		To edit movie, press AE-L/AF-Lwhile movie is paused.
Return to full-		/K	Press 1 or K to exit to full-frame playback.

Exit to shooting			Press shutter-release button halfway. Monitor will turn off;
mode			photographs can be taken immediately.
