Viewing Pictures on a Computer

Windows Millennium Edition (Me):

After displaying a message stating that the hardware information database is being updated, the computer will start the Add New Hardware Wizard. Click Cancel to exit the wizard, and then disconnect the camera.

Windows 98 Second Edition (SE):

The Add New Hardware Wizard will be displayed. Click Cancel to exit the wiz- ard, and then disconnect the camera.

Mac OS 9 (9.0 - 9.2):

A dialog will be displayed stating that the computer is unable to use the driver needed for the “Nikon Digital Camera SQ_PTP” USB device. Click Cancel to close the dialog, and then disconnect the camera.

Selecting Pictures for Transfer

Pictures selected for transfer to a computer are marked with a icon. You

5 can turn transfer marking for selected pictures on or off by pressing the button on the camera while the pictures are displayed in playback mode.
