D-Lighting

If you’ve taken a picture that’s too dark in places, D-Lighting can fix the image in-camera – automatically adding light and detail to dark areas while keeping brighter parts just as they are.

Face-priority AF*

With some cameras, other objects can come out clearer than the person you’re trying to photograph. Face-priority AF, on the other hand, can find a face wherever it is in the frame to put the focus right where you want it.

In-Camera Red-Eye Fix

The COOLPIX L1 gives you better pictures of people in low light. That’s because it features In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, which automatically corrects the annoying red-eye effect caused by flash.
