Dynamic swivel design for more imaginative shooting

The unique swivel design gives the photographer the freedom to take pictures from much more imaginative angles – shooting from overhead, from the hip, or pointing the lens and LCD monitor in the same direction for self-portraits.

The Graphic User Interface (GUI) lets you choose functions by name or icon. There’s a handy HELP button too, which displays simple explanations for main menu functions.

When an image is compromised by excessive back light or insufficient flash, the COOLPIX S4 has got it covered. Just select the image, opt for D-Lighting and the camera automatically creates a copy, but with light and detail added where necessary.

Face-priority AF*

The Face-priority AF function can detect and focus in on a human face, no matter where it is located in the frame – producing pleasingly sharp portraits, more of the time.

In-Camera Red-Eye Fix
