Auto-S flash significantly

reduces "Red-eye"

phenomenon (when a subject's eyes appear red)

in flash portraits and group photos.

Press the flash mode button until "AUTO-S" appears on the LCD panel.

Compose your shot and press

the shutter release button — the flash will emit a rapid series of pre flashes, followed directly by the main flash.

Hold the camera firmly while pressing

the shutter release button.
