Changing picture-taking settings

You can change settings to get the best results from your camera:

1Press the Menu button. (Some settings are unavailable in some modes.)

2Press to highlight a setting, then press the OK button.

3Choose an option, then press the OK button.

4Press the Menu button to exit the menu.

Setting	Icon	Options
Custom Exposure Mode	P	Program (default)
		Aperture Priority
Choose a preferred capture	ASM

Self Timer		On
Turn the Self Timer on or off.		Off (default)
This setting remains until you
take the picture, turn the Mode
dial, or turn off the camera.
Picture Size		6.1 MP—for printing up to 30 x 40 in. (76
Choose a picture resolution.		x 102 cm).
This setting remains until you		5.4 MP (3:2)—ideal for printing 4 x 6 in.

		for printing up to 20 x 30 in. (50 x 76 cm);

		25 cm).
		1.7 MP—for printing 4 x 6 in. (10 x 16 cm)
		prints, emailing, Internet, screen display, or
		for conserving space.
Compression	JPG	Standard (default)
Choose a compression.		Fine
