Getting started

Battery Safety and Handling

Do not allow batteries to touch metal objects, including coins. Otherwise, a battery may short circuit, discharge energy, become hot, or leak.

Turning the camera on and off

Press the on/off button.

Your camera is ready to take pictures when the power light glows steady blue. Auto mode is selected.

To turn off the camera, press and hold the on/off button for about a second.

NOTE: The lens retracts if it encounters an obstruction when you turn on the camera. Make sure the lens is unobstructed and press the on/off button again.
