Try one or more of the following

 

 

Stored pictures are corrupted.

Retake pictures. (Do not remove card while the camera is on. Keep rechargeable battery charged.)

Transfer the pictures to the computer (page 37), then format the card or internal memory (see page 36).

Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and videos, including protected files.

In Review mode,

Check the image storage location setting (page 36).

Move so there is at least 2 ft (0.6 m) between the camera and the subject.

Press the Shutter button halfway to focus and set exposure. When the framing marks turn green, press the Shutter button completely down.

Place the camera on a steady surface.
