Getting started
Turning the camera on and off
■To turn the camera on:
On/Off button | Press the On/Off button. |
The “Date and time have been reset” message appears the first time you turn on the camera.
■ To turn the camera off:
Press the On/Off button.
The camera completes the operations that are in process and turns off.
NOTE: The lens retracts if it encounters an obstruction when you turn on the camera. Make sure the lens is unobstructed and press the On/Off button again.

The “Date and time have been reset” message appears the first time you turn on the camera or if the battery is removed for an extended period of time.
1SET DATE & TIME is highlighted. Press the OK button. (Select Cancel to set the date and time at a later time.)
2Go to step 4 below, Setting the date & time, anytime.

1Turn on the camera.
2Press the Menu button to highlight Camera setup .
3Press to highlight SET DATE & TIME, then press the OK button.
4Press to adjust the date and time. Press to advance to the next setting.
5When finished, press the OK button.
NOTE: Depending on your computer operating system, Kodak EasyShare software may let your computer update the camera clock when you connect the camera. See the EasyShare software Help for details.
