Troubleshooting

If...	Try one or more of the following
Camera does not	■ Purchase a certified SD/MMC card.
recognize	■ Reformat the card (see page 26).
SD/MMC card.
	Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and videos,
	including protected files.
	■ Insert a card into the slot, then push to seat (see page 3).
Camera freezes up	■ Turn the camera off, then back on. Make sure the camera is turned off
when a card is	before inserting or removing a card.

with the camera.	■ Install new batteries (see page 1) or charge rechargeable batteries.
	■ Connect the USB cable to camera and computer port (see page 36).
	■ Install the software (see page 35).
	■ Disconnect the USB cable. Close all software applications. Re-install
	the software (see page 35).
	■ Disconnect camera from the computer. Close all software applications,
	reconnect camera.
