Turning the TFT LCD Monitor On or Off (Preset: On)

Setting Self-timer (Preset: Off)

SET 9

The self-timer starts and counts down for 10 seconds.

The self-timer is automatically cancelled once the picture has been taken.

You can change the icon display on the TFT LCD Monitor, turn it off, and turn it on again by pressing the LCD button repeatedly.

Setting Flash Mode (Preset: Auto Flash)

You can select the flash mode shown below according to the environment.

Auto Flash	The flash fires automatically as required by the shooting mode.
Auto Flash with	If the subjects eyes will appear in the picture, using this mode can
Red-eye Reduction	effectively minimize the likelihood of the red-eye effect.
	The flash will flash and the exposure time is set to 1/4 second so
Night Scene	that the subject in the foreground and the background are properly
	exposed.
Fill-in Flash	This mode will enable the flash to fire in any circumstances.
Flash Off	This mode will prevent theflash from firing in any circumstances.

Setting Digital Zoom ( 4X continuous )

SET	The zoom bar, appearing on the left
	of the TFT LCD monitor, shows the
	current digital zoom position.

Note

Generally speaking, the digital zoom image quality is less sharp than that of non-digital zoom.
