Night Scene Mode

Capturing human subjects using [ ] Night Scene mode provides you a natural balance between the main subject and the background. The people in an evening sky or night scene are illuminated with lights from the flash while the background is captured at a slow shutter speed to prevent blurring and let both (people and the background) appear according to exposure.

1. Press the MENU button to enter [Capture] menu and select [Scene]

using the

/

buttons. Press OK to enter the sub-menu.

 

2. After entering the sub-menu, select [Night Scene] using the

/

buttons. Press OK to confirm setting. Night Scene icon [

] displays.

3. To exit from menu mode, use the

/

buttons to select [Exit] and

press OK.

 

 

 

Notes:

In [ ] Night Scene mode, Flash mode will automatically detect the ambient lighting. If the surrounding brightness is low, the flash will fire at [ A ] Red-eye reduction mode.

In [ ] Night Scene mode, ISO speed cannot be set.

For other settings like Language, Power Off time or others, choose [Setup] in Capture/Video/Playback menu.
