Exposure

This feature automatically adjusts the iris for the best available picture quality, however, you may want to adjust it manually. Manual exposure is recommended in the following situations:

When taking pictures in reverse lighting or when the background is too bright.

When taking pictures on a reflective background, such as at the beach or when skiing.

1.Set the Power dial to REC. (The image in front of the camera appears.)

2.Press the MENU button. (The Record menu appears and WHITE BAL is highlighted.)

3.Use the Navigation button to scroll to EXPOSURE and adjust the setting (AUTO/ -1.5to +1.5).
