Date and Time Display

Recording Date and Time, Date, or Date and Title on Your Tape

The time and date, date only, or date and title can be recorded on your tape. Whenever one of the displays appears in the viewfinder, it will be recorded. The camcorder also has auto date and auto title features.

To Select Display to Record

1.Repeatedly press DATE/TIME to select the display you want to record.

Select date and time to continuously record the date and time.

Select AUTO to automatically record the date for 10 seconds at the beginning of the recording.

Select TITLE to automatically record the title and date for 10 seconds at the beginning of the recording.

Select date only to continuously record the date.

Select no display if you do not want any of the displays recorded.

Charging the Camcorder’s Built-in Clock Battery

The camcorder has a built-in rechargeable clock battery.

This battery must be charged approximately every two months.

1.Attach a power supply (adapter/ charger or charged battery) to the camcorder.

2.Make sure CAMERA/OFF/VCR is

in OFF.

3.Leave the power supply attached at least 24 hours.

Cautions: If this battery is not charged every two months, it will over-discharge and shorten its useful life.

Do not attempt to replace this battery. Take the camcorder to an authorized Servicenter.
