HD Quality (2M) Photos & HD (720p) Videos with Waterproof (10ft/ 3m)

2M Photos & 720p Videos

The 2-megapixel of the Xacti WH1 enables beautiful photos with vivid color and intricate detail.

The MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format creates small, easy to handle files, and longer recordings. The Xacti WH1 also connects directly to a large-screen 16:9 HDTV.

Waterproof (10 ft/3 m)

A waterproof design* lets you shoot at the beach, by the pool, or on ski slopes without worrying about submerging the camera or getting it wet from rain or snow. This lets you record action that would be impossible to capture with other cameras.

High-Speed Sequential Shooting

The WH1 is capable of high-speed sequential shooting at 13 frames per second (up to 29 frames) in [2M] mode, ensuring that you won’t miss important shots. It also allows sequential shooting at 13 frames per second (up to 30 frames) in [1.1M] mode.

Optical 30x Zoom (1,500x with Digital Zoom)

The Xacti WH1 incorporates a high-performance 30x optical zoom lens with a maximum aperture of F1.8, allowing distant subjects and people to be captured in beautiful quality. Combined with the 50x digital zoom, up to 1,500x zooming is possible.

HDMI Output

The WH1 makes it extremely simple to watch recorded images on a HDTV with optionally sold HDMI cable.

*Available video clip recording time is shown when a re-formatted card is inserted. * Photo capacities and video recording times are approximations only and may vary according to the memory card type and manufacturer, the subject and the shooting conditions. Particularly, when a low-speed SD card is used with HD-SHQ mode, consecutive shooting may be limited to only a few seconds. * When continuous recording time exceeds approximately 13 hours for audio, the file will be saved, and the subsequent data will be saved in a new file. Similarly, when the recording file size exceeds 4 GB, the file will be saved and subsequent data will be saved in a new file. (A new file is automatically created for every 4 GB. Although recording will continue until stopped, recording of video clips and sound will stop while files are being saved.)
