Shooting modes

Take photos or record videos by selecting the best shooting mode for the conditions.

2 Using the Auto mode

Select 2 to take a photo quickly and easily with minimal settings.

1 Rotate the mode dial to 2.

2 Align your subject in the frame and half-press [Shutter] to focus.

3 Press [Shutter] to take the photo.

6 Using the Night mode

Select 6 to take a photo with options for shooting at night. Use a tripod to prevent your camera from shaking.

1 Rotate the mode dial to 6.

2 Align your subject in the frame and half-press [Shutter] to focus.

3 Press [Shutter] to take the photo.

4 Using the Scene mode

Select 4 to take a photo with options for a preset scene.

1 Rotate the mode dial to 4.

2 Touch .

3 Select a scene.
