Using the electronic viewfinder (EVF)

The electronic viewfinder shows the same display as the LCD monitor, and is used when it is difficult for the user to see the LCD monitor due to bright lighting. Pressing the EVF/LCD button will switch between the electronic viewfinder and the LCD moni- tor. The display remains the same when the camera is turned off or when the user selects another mode with the Mode Dial.

When the electronic viewfinder is out of focus, turn the diopter adjustment lever to obtain the clearest image.
