Taking a Picture in Manual Mode

1.Select the Mode dial to Manual( ).

2.Press the POWER button ( ) to power on the camera.

3.The shooting procedures are the same as “Taking a picture in Auto Mode”.

NOTE:

·While pressing the shutter button half way down, a “camera shak- ing” icon appears under the auto focus mark, it may suggest that the focusing on the subject is difficult, and/or the camera is not hold securely.

·While pressing the shutter button half way down, you can also check if there is proper exposure value subject to your current light condition for capturing.

·If the display indicators on the LCD screen turn into green color, it means the camera has automatically lock the exposure and white balance for you.

·If the display indicators on LCD screen turn into red color which means the camera’s auto exposure and auto white balance func- tion is not ready or your capturing condition is over the camera’s setting.

·Under the above condition, if you still press completely down the capture button, the picture you took is in risk of over exposure or too dark.
