The Pentax FA lenses are primarily designed to work with the Pentax autofocus SLR (KAF2- or KAF2-mount camera), making autofocus shooting possible.

When Pentax FA Zoom lenses with power zoom function are used on the Pentax KAF2- mount camera, the camera features a Power Zoom system.

•An FA zoom lens without the power zoom contacts are shown in the illustration does not have the power zoom function.

•Do not damage or dirty the power contacts.
