3Insert the memory card into the slot (with the label side of the card facing the rear of the camera).

Make sure the card is pushed firmly into the slot.

4Close the memory compartment cover.

5In the event that the memory card becomes corrupted and unusable, it must be reformatted (see “Delete photos from your memory card” on page 22 for information).

To remove the memory card

1Turn off the camera.

2Open the memory compartment on the side of the camera.
