| the digital camera. Make sure that the cables are | |
| firmly attached to the digital camera and to the | |
| computer. If you cannot establish a connection, turn | |
| off and on the computer. Launch the software. | |
| • Your serial port may have a conflict. Another software | |
| application or hardware device (such as a | |
| computer device) may be using your COMM port | |
| settings. Turn off these other software and hardware | |
| devices when the digital camera is connected to your | |
| computer. | |
| • Your computer may have an internal BIOS conflict. | |
| Read the instructional manual and other | |
| documentation that came with your computer, or | |
| check with the computer manufacturer for more | |
| information. | |
| • Purchase an optional external memory card device. | |
