Your camera is designed to switch off automatically after 1/3/5 minute(s) of inactivity. You can change the Auto Power Off setting by the following steps:

When “OFF” is selected, the LCD will turn off after five minutes. Press and hold the OK button for two
seconds to turn on LCD.
You can also set Auto power off in Playback mode.
