Hotkeys

The computer employs hotkeys or key combinations to access most of the computer's controls like screen brightness, volume output and the BIOS utility.

To activate hotkeys, press and hold the <Fn> key before pressing the other key in the hot key combination.

<Fn> +		Hot key help	Displays help on hotkeys.
<F1>

<Fn> +		Acer eSetting	Launches Acer eSetting in Acer eManager.
<F2>			See "Acer eManager" on page 19.

<Fn> +		Acer Power	Launches Power Management options.
<F3>		Management

<Fn> +		Sleep	Puts the computer in Sleep mode.
<F4>

<Fn> + <F5>

Display	Switches display output between the display
toggle	screen, external monitor (if connected) and
	both.

<Fn> +	Screen blank	Turns the display screen backlight off to save
<F6>		power. Press any key to return.
<Fn> +	Touchpad	Turns the internal touchpad on and off.
<F7>	toggle
<Fn> +	Speaker	Turns the speakers on and off.
<F8>	toggle
<Fn> +	Volume up	Increases the sound volume.
