14To avoid hazard of unexpected electrical shock, use the AC adaptor only when the wall socket is properly grounded.

15Use only the proper type of power supply cord set (provided in your accessories box) for this unit. It should be a detachable type: UL listed/CSA certified, type SPT-2, rated 7 A 125 V minimum, VDE approved or its equivalent. Maximum length is 4.6 meteres (15 feet).

16Always disconnect all telephone lines from the wall outlet before serving or disassembling this equipment.

17Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during an electrical storm. There may be a remote risk of electric shock from lightning.
