Inserting the SD (Secure Digital) Card

This camera has 16MB of internal memory, but it’s recommended you use a larger capacity SD card if you would like to take more pictures and longer videos. If inserting an SD card before taking pictures or recording video clips, then the SD card is default storage media. Turn off the camera before inserting or removing the SD card. Be sure to orient the card correctly when inserting it. Never try to force the SD card into the slot when you feel resistance. The SD card has a write protect switch, which you can use to prevent data from accidental deletion; therefore, disable the write protection beforehand whenever you want to record, format or delete files in the SD card.
