Installing the Software Driver

Windows 98 (Second Edition) requires the installation if the driver to use the camera as a mass storage device.

1.Install the included software installation CD-Rom in you computer’s CD-ROM drive. The autorun menu appears.

2.Click Drivers. You are prompted to choose a setup language. Choose a setup language and click OK.

3.Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.

Installing Ulead Photo Explorer 8 SE Basic

Ulead Photo Explorer 8 SE Basic is a Photo management application that is included on the software installation CD-ROM. This software requires Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP on your computer.

1.Install the included software installation CD-Rom in you computer’s CD-ROM drive. The autorun menu appears.

2.Click Installing Ulead Photo Explorer 8 SE Basic.

3.Select a language and follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.

NOTE:

To play MPEG-4 files, both the software from the CD and Windows Media Player are required. Windows Media Player is located under Utilities in the autorun menu.

Installing VideoStudio 7 SE VCD

VideoStudio 7 SE VCD is a video editing application hat is included on the software installation CD-ROM. This software requires Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP on your computer.

1.Install the included software installation CD-Rom in you computer’s CD-ROM drive. The autorun menu appears.

2.Click Installing VideoStudio 7 SE VCD.

3.Select a language and follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
