Locating the End of the Last Scene

After playing back a tape, use this function to locate the end of the last scene recorded in order to continue recording from that point.

Stop the playback before using this function.

1Press FUNC. .

2Select ( ) [ END SEARCH] and press ( ).

3Select ( ) [EXECUTE] and press ( ).

“END SEARCH” appears.

The camcorder rewinds/fast forwards the tape, plays back the last few seconds of the recording and stops the tape.

To cancel the search push the joystick ( ) towards .

NOTES

End search cannot be used once you remove the cassette.

If there are blank sections between recordings, the end search may not work correctly.

Magnifying the Playback Image

During playback, movies and still images can be magnified up to 5 times. You can also select the area to be magnified.

1Move the zoom lever toward T.

The image is magnified by 2 times and a frame appears indicating the position of the magnified area.

To further enlarge the image, move the zoom lever toward T. To reduce the

magnification, move the zoom lever toward W.

will appear for images that cannot be enlarged.

2Select (, ) the enlarged area of the picture with the joystick.

To cancel the magnification, move the zoom lever toward W until the frame disappears.

IMPORTANT

While the magnification position frame is displayed, it will replace the joystick guide. Cancel the magnification to return to normal playback.
