2-4 Other Settings with V.Networks Setup Tool [7. Compression Format]

Either JPEG or MPEG4 can be selected as the image compression format.

1. Start up [V.Networks Setup Tool] and for the compression format, select JPEG or MPEG4. For MPEG4, select [MPEG-4].

Set the frame rate for MPEG4 (30, 15 or 7.5).

For smoother display of images, set a larger value.

Set the bit rate for MPEG4 (64 to 2048). For a better image quality, set a larger value.

Caution

In the MPEG4 mode with the frame rate set to 30 fps,image noise may appear momentarily depending on the condition of the object. This is not a defect.

Memory capacity can be checked.

1. Start up [V.Networks SetupTool] and for the compression format, select [JPEG] or [MPEG4].

Check the free memory space. The memory capacity of VN-C10 is 8000 kB.
