Taking Pictures with Manual Focus

Use this function when you want to fix the focus or when the distance between the lens and the subject is determined and you do not want to activate the auto focus.

2 Slide the focus switch to [MF] and rotate the MF ring 1 to focus on the subject.

1 Select [MF ASSIST] from the [SETUP] menu (in the recording mode) (P22) and set it to [ON].

When you stop rotating the MF ring, the MF assistance disappears about

2 seconds after.
