Recording pictures (advanced)

Snow mode

This mode allows you to take a picture in locations such as skiing resorts and locations near snowy mountains. The exposure and the white balance are adjusted to make the white colour of the snow stand out.

• The ISO sensitivity is fixed to [AUTO].

Starry sky mode

This mode allows you to take beautiful pictures of a starry sky or a dark subject that you could not take in [NIGHT SCENERY]. It is possible to take clear pictures of stars in the night sky by making the shutter speed slower. Select a shutter speed of [15 SEC.], [30 SEC.] or [60 SEC.].
