FocusFoc s

This camera enables you to capture almost any subject. However, you may need to change focus modes according to the distance from the subject or dark place.

Before you begin

Set the POWER Switch to

(MANUAL REC).	(See page 16.)
Press MENU	to display the MENU
screen.

1	Press		or		to select			FOCUS
	and	press		or		to select one of the
	four	modes shown		below.
	• Default setting is AUTO.

AUTO : Capture images within a range of

4.7inches (12 cm) to infinity.

:Close-up

Focus will adjust around

4.7inches (12 cm).

:Portrait

Focus will adjust around 4.9 feet (1.5 m).

	:Landscape
2	Infinity.
	Press MENU	to exit.
	• Selected	mode will appear on the
	LCD Viewfinder. (See page 9.)

Note

•When the Camera is set to POWER OFF, the Focus setting will be stored in Camera memory. When the Camera is

set to POWER ON, the Focus setting will default to the previous setting.
