Q1931 specifications

Axis Communications, a leader in network video solutions, introduces the Q1931 series, a state-of-the-art thermal network camera designed to enhance security and surveillance capabilities in various environments. The Q1931 models leverage cutting-edge thermal imaging technology, making them ideal for low-light conditions and situations where visibility is compromised.

One of the main features of the Q1931 series is its high-quality thermal imaging. Equipped with a comprehensive thermal imaging sensor, the camera can detect temperature differences in the environment. This capability allows users to identify potential security threats or intrusions even in complete darkness or challenging weather conditions, making it a versatile solution for outdoor monitoring and critical infrastructure protection.

The Q1931 camera series also includes advanced video analytics, a crucial feature for modern security systems. With built-in intelligent video analytics, the cameras can effectively detect motion, people, and vehicles, providing users with relevant alerts and reducing false alarms. This intelligent processing allows for quicker response times in security incidents and enhances overall situational awareness.

Axis Communications has integrated their proprietary Zipstream technology into the Q1931 series, which optimizes video streaming and storage without sacrificing image quality. By intelligently compressing the video stream, Zipstream significantly reduces bandwidth usage and storage requirements, making it an efficient choice for organizations looking to manage their resources better.

Durability is another hallmark of the Q1931 series. Designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the camera is rated IP66 for dust and water resistance and is built to endure extreme temperatures. This weatherproof design ensures reliability in various outdoor settings, providing peace of mind for those who deploy the cameras in vulnerable areas.

The Q1931 camera also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies installation by allowing power and data to be transmitted through a single cable. This feature not only reduces infrastructure costs but also enhances the flexibility of camera placement.

In summary, the Axis Communications Q1931 series combines advanced thermal imaging, robust analytics, efficient data management, rugged durability, and flexible installation options. These features make it an exceptional choice for security professionals seeking to enhance safety and surveillance capabilities in challenging conditions. As technology continues to evolve, the Q1931 stands out as a premier solution for comprehensive security systems.
