Kodak Picture Frame manual

NOTE: When you copy a high resolution picture (greater than 640 x 480 pixels) from a card to the frame, the picture is reduced to 640 x 480 pixels. This allows the frame to store the maximum number of images. Due to this compression, these pictures may appear with black bars above and below, or on the sides.

If you want to retain a copy of a picture in its original higher resolution, do not delete this picture from the card.

You do not need to copy pictures to the frame. When a card is inserted, the pictures on the card are displayed.
