HParental lock

ITo control over what your children watch on your DVD player, some DVD

discs feature a Parental Lock level.

IIf your player is set to a lower level than the disc, the disc would not play. I The player does not play certain scenes on some discs that support the

Country/Area Code feature, depending on the Country/Area Code you set. I Not all discs use Parental Lock and will play without requiring the password

first.

I If you forget your password, you will need to reset the player to register a new password. (See “Clearing all the memory (reset)” on page 49).

HPassword setting

You must register a password before you can change the Parental Lock level or enter a Country code.

1 Whilst in the stop mode, press HOME MENU then select

“Initial Settings” and press ENTER button.

HChanging your password

To change your password, confirm your existing password then enter a new one.

1 Repeat steps 1 and 2 in “Password setting” but this time

select “Password Change”.
