5.1Acquiring the EDID

Initially, the VM-2HDCPoperates with the factory default EDID1. This lets you connect the power before connecting either of the acceptors or the source.

You can acquire:

The Default EDID (both output LEDs blink)

The EDID from One Output (the relevant output illuminates)

You can also acquire the Clone EDID which copies the EDID data from the acceptor bit-by-bit.
