Other Functions

Setting the visual input sound level

You can adjust an input sound level of visual1/2.

The factory default setting is “HIGH”(high).

1.Press the [ADJ] button to display the ADJUST MODE menu.

2.Touch the [ ] key to select “VISUAL AUX SENS”.

3.Touch the [VISUAL AUX SENS] key to select “HIGH”(high) or “MID”(mid) or “LOW”(low).

4.Touch the [HIGH] or [MID] or [LOW] key to select desired mode and set it.

5.Press the [ADJ] button or touch the [RTN] key to return to the previous mode.

Triggered audio mute for cellular telepones

This unit requires special wiring to mute the audio signal automatically when a cellular telephone rings in the car.

This function is not compatible with all cellular telepones. Contact your local authorized Clarion dealer for information on proper installation and compatibility.

5.1ch Surround Decoder Operations

5.1ch Surround Decoder control function

This function is available when a 5.1ch Surround Decoder (DVH920) is connected.

When the 5.1ch Surround Decoder (DVH920, sold separately) is CeNET connected, the 5.1ch Surround Decoder Control unit (DVC920, sold separately) cannot be used.

This section describes operation procedures only.

For other details, refer to the owner’s manual supplied with the 5.1ch Surround Decoder.

For details on functions of each mode, refer to the owner’s manual supplied with the DVH920.

1.Press the [ADJ] button to show the ADJUST MODE menu.

2.Touch the [SOUND] key.

SOUND

3.Touch the required keys to make the desired setting.

SPEAKER SEL (speaker sel)

This function determines center speaker, surround speaker and sub woofer connection.

3-1 Touch the [SPEAKER SEL] key to show the submenu.

3-2 Touch the [CENTER SP], [SURROUND SP]

or [SUB WOOFER] key and the [ON] or [OFF] key to turn speakers on or off depending on what speakers are connected.

The default value is “ON”.

The phase of the “SUB WOOFER” is

reversed in the ON- setting. The default

value is “ON+”.55
