CD/MD Changer Operations

Scan play

Disc repeat play

The scan play locates and plays the first 10 seconds of each track on a disc automatically. This function continues on the disc until it is cancelled or the mode is changed.

The scan play is useful when you want to select a desired track.

1.Touch the screen or press the [LIST] button, the MENU screen appears.

2.Touch the [SUB MODE] key in the STANDARD screen to show SUB MODE.

Touch the [TRACK SCAN] key to start scan play. “TRACK SCN” lights in the display.

3.Touch the [TRACK SCAN] key again to cancel the scan play. Current track continues to play.

After all tracks in the current disc have been played, the disc repeat play automatically replays the current disc over from the first track. This function continues automatically until it is cancelled.

1.Touch the screen or press the [LIST] button, the MENU screen appears.

2.Touch the [SUB MODE] key in the MENU screen to show SUB MODE.

Touch the [DISC REPEAT] key, disc repeat play starts, “DISC REPEAT” light in the display.

3.To cancel disc repeat play, touch the [DISC REPEAT] key again. “DISC REPEAT” goes off from the display and the unit returns to normal play from the track being played.

Disc scan play

The disc scan play locates and plays the first 10 seconds of the first track on each disc in the currently selected CD (MD) changer. This function continues automatically until it is cancelled or the mode is changed.

The disc scan play is useful when you want to select a desired CD (MD).

1.Touch the screen or press the [LIST] button, the MENU screen appears.

2.Touch the [SUB MODE] key in the MENU screen to show SUB MODE.

Touch the [DISC SCAN] key to start disc scan play. “DISC SCN” lights in the display.

3.Touch the [DISC SCAN] key again to cancel disc scan play. Normal disc play continues on the current track.

Random play

The random play selects and plays individual tracks on the disc in no particular order. This function continues automatically until it is cancelled.

1.Touch the screen or press the [LIST] button, the MENU screen appears.

2.Touch the [SUB MODE] key in the MENU screen to show SUB MODE.

When you touch the [TRACK RANDOM] key, random play starts. “TRACK RANDOM” lights in the display.

3.To cancel random play, touch the [TRACK RANDOM] key again. “TRACK RANDOM” goes off from the display and the unit returns to normal play.

Repeat play

The repeat play continuously plays the current track. This function continues automatically until it is cancelled.

1.Touch the screen or press the [LIST] button, the MENU screen appears.

2.Touch the [SUB MODE] key in the MENU screen to show SUB MODE.

Touch the [TRACK REPEAT] key, to make repeat play starts. “TRACK REPEAT” lights in the display.

3.To cancel repeat play, touch the [TRACK REPEAT] key. “TRACK REPEAT” goes off from the display and the unit returns to normal play.

Disc random play

The disc random play selects and plays individual tracks or discs automatically in no particular order. This function continues automatically until it is cancelled.

1.Touch the screen or press the [LIST] button, the MENU screen appears.

2.Touch the [SUB MODE] key in the MENU screen to show SUB MODE.

When you touch the [DISC RANDOM] key, disc random play starts. “DISC RANDOM” lights in the display.
